JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD FOR US AT CALVARY!
What do we have because of the shed blood of Christ Jesus?

2. WE ARE REDEEMED!
1 Peter 1:18-19 18For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Acts 20:28 28Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
3. WE ARE CLEANSED FROM OUR SINS!
1 John 1:7 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
4. We Are Freed From Our Sins!
Revelation 1:5 5and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood
5. WE ARE JUSTIFIED!
Romans 3:24-25 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished
6. WE HAVE PEACE!
Colossians 1:19-20 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
7. WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER!
Hebrews 10:19-20 19Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
8. WE HAVE DIVINE HEALING!
Isaiah 53:5 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
9. WE HAVE VICTORY OVER SATAN!
Revelation 12:10b-11 10bFor the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
10. WE HAVE BEEN SANCTIFIED!
Hebrews 13:12 12And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
11. WE HAVE A CLEAR CONSCIENCE!
Hebrews 9:14 14How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
12. WE HAVE ETERNAL GLORY!
Revelation 7:13-17 13Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes–who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. 16Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. 17For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Exactly! Sin is Not imputed to us.
ReplyDeleteBut God does deal with our desire to sin by tribulations and afflictions to slowly put our flesh to death so we can walk after the Spirit aand not the flesh. We are saved by the blood of his Life which Jesus poured out in God's Love.
